I agree. But since the wrong minifigure soc155 has been in the catalog for so
long and is listed in many stores, a new minifigure with the correct hair piece
must be added to the catalog to fix this.

| I had figure SW0121 removed from my listings. The reason given was "Reason:
Item is incorrectly defined as New/Used or Complete/Incomplete/Sealed". But
I had the figure marked as "used" and mentioned the parts that were missing
on the figure. I realize you can't sell incomplete figures but this figure
is not inventoried so there is no way to sell individual pieces from this figure.
There are also numerous amounts of this figure listed on Bricklink with missing
parts, broken parts, or with colored parts swapped out for different colors.
So why would mine be removed if there is no way to list it on Bricklink besides
custom. Especially when all these other figures are allowed to stay.

Out of interest what part or parts were missing?

| I've just had a customer complain that my Sam Kerr isn't genuine?
However whilst its accurate as per Bricklink and Brickset it seems the set comes
with alternate hair pieces and whilst it may seem okay to use either it really
ought to match with the instructions which actually use:-
The promotional images of Sam Kerr holding the minifig also show it with this
hair design:-

| It’s one of the parts affected by the variants merge; now those hollow stud and
blocked open stud heads are together in one listing. Sellers can note which type
they have for sale if they choose.
It was a huge deal and highly debated when it was initially announced but the
merge went ahead anyway.
If you look under “help center” there’s a list of all parts that are affected
by the merges and more information as well.

Why can I not find "Minifigure, Head Standard Grin Pattern - Blocked Open
Stud" in the catalog anymore? Looks like it has been converted to "Minifigure,
Head Standard Grin Pattern" which is totaly blocked. Can anybody clarify???

| What is an efficient way of determining which parts have not been located in
a STORE search? In example "A" I conducted a search within Australia
and it located 692 parts out of a total 694. What are the two missing parts?
In example "B", same search but this time anywhere in the world. I found
694 out of 694 parts. So how do I determine the 2 missing parts from the Australian
search?
|
On the left hand side where it shows all your Wanted lists, there is a tab marked
'Items'; if you click into that, it shows all the items your searching
for. Once you have all the carts created, if you're still missing pieces
from that search, that panel should tell you what's left over!
|
Kiryan42, thanks for advice, it's all sorted now, it was a colour issue.
Thanks!

Yep, I was almost positive it was discussed and that the decision that was reached
was to mention any problems in the description. Was this a rogue administrator
who removed this without understanding the previously agreed on decision/policy?
Would love for Russell to chime in on this.

I would figure that your average employee at BrickLink who processes this stuff
doesn't have the institutional knowledge to make these kind of distinctions.
