I've been thinking about the interactivity of adult sets for a while, and how I love little details that you can find within models. I was then thinking about storytelling and how you can have passive storytelling in a fun and interesting manner. Behold, my conclusion!
Uncle Olive has been found dead in the lounge room, he had been reading when somebody had snuck up behind him. He has been found splayed on the floor with his book open to the last page he read. Who could have possibly done it?
A MOC that requires you to solve a murder mystery, with clues and hidden secrets within! Fully interactive and able to be taken apart to thoroughly explore and discover clues as to the murderer. I've been designing this for quite some time now, and I think it is getting close to being finished. There is currently one sequence of clues that leads to the murder weapon and a couple of random secrets in rooms. There is also space for me to add more secrets or false clues for more interactivity with the set. Each character would also ideally have a short bio and information regarding to the set. If people are interested, I could make those so you have an understanding of what their roles in this house are.
Each room has been designed so that it can be separated from the model, and two walls are removable for better accessibility to explore the room. The only exception to this is the large lounge room, as it still has great accessibility through the front wall (and I haven't included any secrets in this room as it is the murder room currently). Each section of the roof can also come off, although I haven't tested the structural integrity of any of them, so they may need altering.
I haven't finished building this MOC, so any thoughts and opinions are appreciated :) Looking at these renders, I think I will add some art to some of the blank walls.
The 8 current characters in this MOC. Old Man Purple, Mrs Grey, Mr Red, Little Boy Blue, Little Girl Pink, Miss Brown, Chef White, and the unfortunately deceased Uncle Olive.
