Have you ever wondered who provides the fish for the Lion Queen’s
grand banquets? Or who delivers the wood for the town’s skilled
carpenter? Have you ever pondered where the tax collector goes when
he's not collecting taxes? Wonder no more! The answer lies within
"The Medieval Fishing Village"— the ideal
addition to any majestic medieval castle layout.
The “Medieval Fishing Village” consists of six
unique structures (four houses, a bridge and a sign post), a raft and
a carriage and comes with 11 minifigures, a horse, a
goat and several birds and fish.
- The Fishing Hut: The fishing hut
consists of a rocky base with a small basement store room, a
pier and a small hut with removable roof.
-
The River House: The cozy river house has a nice
fireplace, a removable roof and enough pier space to dock a small
boat or raft.
- The Saw Mill: The
fully working saw mill is powered by turning the water wheel
(see video).
- The Tax Collector’s
Manor: The seat of the tax collector has a large vault
in the basement and can be opened up to increase its footprint
and to access the interior.
- The
Bridge: The bridge connects the stilt houses to the
rest of the village and is used as a checkpoint for the village
guards.
- The Signpost: The signpost
is the centre of the village and shows the directions to the
most important locations in the kingdom.
-
The Horse-drawn Carriage: The horse-drawn
carriage is used to carry big logs to the saw mill.
-
The Raft: The raft is used by outlaws to secretly
approach the village via the river to steal from the tax collector’s vault.
