Gatehouse
Step into the past with this charming historical gatehouse, inspired by the real Brockenhurst Gatehouse in England. Originally designed in the 19th century by architect Alfred Waterhouse, this beautiful building still stands today as a unique accommodation. My LEGO version stays true to its historical roots, continuing its role as a grand entrance to the park.
This LEGO model brings the gatehouse to life, complete with a grand arched entrance and a cozy home where an elderly warden lives. He takes care of the place with the help of a gardener, making sure everything stays just as it should. Inside, there’s a rustic kitchen, a warm fireplace, and a huge bookshelf on the first floor. Upstairs, you’ll find a simple study, and in the tower, there’s a small but cozy bedroom—complete with another fireplace to keep things warm.
To stay true to history, the house doesn’t have a bathroom or toilet, just like in the 19th century. Outside, a family stops to admire the gatehouse, snapping some photos to remember the visit.
This build is all about capturing the charm and history of a bygone era while keeping things fun and detailed. Hope you enjoy it!
