Castle Bridge

Deep in the lego forest lies the castle bridge, the only way across the treacherous waters below. Unfortunately for the merchant and his daughter, the bridge has been overrun by a group of bandits, who take any gold they come across, but unfortunately for the bandits, a brave knight has come to rescue the villagers and return them their gold.

My inspiratrion for this set came from looking at lots of old small lego castles, with their classic red yellow, and black color schemes, and trying to make a modern design using those classic design details that classic lego castle was known for. 

i was also really inspired by the idea of making a build that could present itself in two different ways, so ive added hinges so that the build can be more linear (the closed build in picture one) or be spread open to make a larger display (see image 2)

The Castle Bridge has been a lot of fun to build and i hope you all enjoy  it's design as much as i did building it =D

This build features 1294 pieces, a bridge, a boat, a small cart, and 7 minifigs
