Medieval Stonemasons School

Welcome to the Medieval Stonemasons School!

The Medieval Stonemasons School is a smaller sized build that contains some of the distinctive shapes and forms of Middle Ages. My goal with this build was to keep the part count low while replicating the feel of larger builds like the Medieval Stonemasons Guild and Medieval Construction Site.

The school includes 4 minifigures: a master mason, two journeymen masons, and a young apprentice, practicing his chiseling skills, a number of tools, scaffolds and other details. The "forms" being practiced in the build are:

1. Multiple columns/pillars which create the basis for arched passageways and walkways
   
2. Many Romanesque and Gothic arches
3. A detailed Gothic window with double Romanesque arches and circular opening
4. A large Rose window
5. A model castle
6. A model cathedral
7. An egg sculpture and bird sculpture
8. A knight being chiseled from stone 
9. The bust of a noble patron (Hans, Graf Von Brickerson)
