Outlaw Forest Den

Deep in the heart of the forest, beyond the king’s reach, lies the “Outlaw Forest Den”. This model features an old stone tower standing tall above a hidden cave where a band of robbers has made their secret hideout. The tower, though weathered by time, still stands strong, while the dense forest provides perfect cover.

The cave entry is protected by a fully operational portcullis and has plenty of room for the outlaws to store their treasures. The “Outlaw Forest Den” is designed to be both modular and openable: To allow better access to the interior the tower section can be opened and removed, the rocks in front of the vault can be removed and the whole back section swings open. To access the tower above the cave attackers have to cross a narrow bridge which is guarded by a secret trapdoor. In case of an attack, the outlaws can use a secret escape door at the back to avoid being captured.

The model includes 8 outlaws, a horse-drawn carriage, a bird and a squirrel. The carriage has a hidden compartment that helps them to smuggle their loot while posing as innocent merchants.
