At the remote and desolate edges of the empire, along an ancient
trade route through a rocky desert, merchants undertake long journeys
every day to transport their goods to subjects throughout the kingdom.
Their journey, however, is never peaceful and the path can often
become treacherous: a dangerous bandit brigade is always lurking in an
attempt to steal food, treasures and precious goods.
In this distant and desolate land, along the trade
route, the king has erected a military outpost for surveillance
and defense where merchants can seek refuge and protection during
their long journey. The fortress, built on a rocky hill, seems
impenetrable, but its walls hide hidden entrances that probably no
one knows about.
Every day the looting increases and the
bandits are becoming more and more organized. Perhaps they are even
planning an attack on the castle! Will the kingdom's knights be able
to repel the attack and protect the king's supplies?
