HI, I'm Alessandro Arpino
(Traver). I'm 40 years old man (turned May 16th) and I live in
Rome, Italy. I work as an employee in a public company and I started
loving LEGO from an early age. The first sets I remember, were the
little houses with 2x4 bricks and the 4x4x2 yellow windows with red
window, and then moving on to the pirates, castle, modular, expert
series,
until I decided to dedicate myself to this
project to have fun and perhaps, to create a more adult theme, in fact
the name of the project takes inspiration
from a collectible card game, and recalls the dark settings typical
of black.
The project, however, represents two
explorers who, finally, after a long journey, manage to find this
ancient crypt, older than the pirates themselves, lost on a cliff in
the middle of the ocean.Inside the crypt the ancient keeper of the key
and the book of knowledge stands guard.
To create the base of the cliff I
preferred single scaling bricks instead of rock panels. The crypt is
small, made of bricks, with several windows, but inside it has the
keeper, the book with the pedestal and various accessories. The roof
(removable),is made of "smooth stone" as in the most classic
fantasy representations.
Dulcis in fundo, in the base there is a
secret door, where a poor pirate skeleton rests, in his shed, still
with his treasure intact.
