Have your dream vacation at the Cliffside Retreat!
For around the same number of parts as a modular building, the Cliffside Retreat offers a larger display piece with opportunities for customisation, playability, and display ability!
Some features I have included are a small waterfall, a viewing platform for the figures to enjoy the view, and all the essentials in the house such as a kitchen and small toilet. The bar area features a glass table with funky bar stools and a large painting on the wall. The bedroom has great views and a large skylight to let light in to complete the modern look.
The sleek white exterior contrasts with the grey rockwork, and the greenery adds splashes of colour throughout! White lends itslef well to modern architecture which is why I have settled with a contemporary look for the building.
The large windows use interesting techniques with brackets with garage doors, which are reinforced and integrated into the model. The roof is broken into two pieces which can be removed to access the interior features (like a modular building). The minifigures can access the house via an entrance on the roof with a ladder down into the building. There is also a ladder at the back of the structure. The build is strong and uses several layers of reinforcement in its structure to support the rockwork!
