Visit the Hanging Gardens of Babylon!

Babylon, one of the most known capital city of all times, was very famous for its unique Hanging Gardens, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. They were built by King Nebuchadnezzar II for his wife, Queen Amytis, because she missed the green hills and valleys of her homeland.. a real gesture of love!

This is a personal and artistic interpretation of the city, of which I built a couple of the main buildings. This set is meant to be a modern restoration of the ancient city, imaged as a nowadays museum.

You can see the beautiful Ishtar Gate, the Queen's Palace, i.e. the Hanging Gardens, the Temple of Marduk and some houses!

The museum is plenty of different spaces, such as the Throne Hall, were the Code of Hammurabi, the first written law ever is displayed; the reconstruction of the Royal Chamber, the Statues & Antiques Room, the Pottery Room, the Armory Room, the Archeological Room garden nd benches; the Astrology Room, some Archeological Remains, the Astrology room, and the secret Treasure Cell and Jail Cell of the Death.

But there's the city too, where you can visit the Recreation of a pottery workshop, a small courtyard with a garden, and a recreation of a rustic house.

I hope you'll enjoy my project!
