Various viking and Norse mythology style minifigures to complement.
The most challenging part of the build was to getting it all to connect together after design most of the look and improving sections here and there over and over again until it felt complete.
I aimed to build it to have a monolithic feeling,. Especially when comparing minifigures to the size of the set. So that it would stand out and be unique from any other viking style set in the past even if launched at the same time. The heavy mythological aspect and focus on one building with much interior space also adding to the distinctiveness. As well as features such as the moving library on rails which I have not seen attempted before adding worthiness to the set on it's own.
To make the set more interesting I also added some dark green elements representing moss throughout. The dark and earthly colours throughout the set are meant to make it feel more antique while blending better with the shadows cast by the vast space of the set.
Let me know what you think in the comments. Is there a specific part you like the most. Would you want it in your collection? Thank you for taking the time to watch/read the entry.
