A convoy of vehicles accompanying a modular home to its location of delivery. A large semi, in classic big rig style, tows a trailer into which the foundation of the modular home is integrated. A pickup truck joins the main transport in order to ward off irresponsible drivers and guide the journey.
The model contains the following components: Semi-truck, pickup truck, 4-piece trailer, modular home, truck driver, two crew, dog, and misc. accessories. The truck and trailer are about 2 feet long, and the contents of the model are ~3.8 lbs or 1.8 kgs heavy.
Model functionality:
Truck - removable hood, detailed engine, forward and rear roof, and sleeper cabin. Trailer - four piece construction (anchors to house foundation). House - fully furnished first floor, removable wall between kitchen and bathroom, removable forward and rear lofts (2nd floor), and four roof panels that can both hinge for interior access or be fully removed.
This is actually a reimagining of my series one submission with a complete redesign of the house and trailer, as well as the addition of a pickup truck and minifigure. I put a lot of love & time into this model and I hope you see something that interests you!
