This design was started by me a couple years ago when I first only made the Original Twin Towers with some spare lego I had, then soon after I thought to myself "hey, might as well make some of the surrounding buildings" so I made a couple of the smaller buildings surrounding the two towers. Once the pandemic had settled down I had paused work on the complex to continue my normal life. But recently I have had the time to finish not only the rest of the buildings but the entire complex as well.
The Original World Trade Center Contained 7 buildings which completed between 1973 and 1987. The Twin Towers and surrounding smaller buildings were all office buildings and completed construction in 1973.
Followed by 3 WTC (black and white building), the first and only hotel in the complex which completed in 1981. Then finishing it off was 7 WTC (brown building), another office tower which completed in 1987.
There are inserts on 2 sides of the model for you to fit your fingers and pic up for easy transport.
