The Steam Train was designed to bring the look and feel of classic LEGO trains into the current age, reviving the experience of building the smaller engines and rolling stock and putting four of them into one tidy little package. Each one was designed with the building process in mind above all else to provide a delightful and frustration-free assembly experience.

The engine is based on various saddle-tank locomotives, often used in shunting operations. There’s no tender to be seen for this locomotive, and that’s because the fuel storage area is located just in front of the engineer’s window. Additionally, this locomotive features intricate detailing, including connecting rods, piping around the boiler, and a fired-up firebox.

The boxcar takes inspiration from the classic and iconic look of this type of rolling stock. Featuring sliding doors, this boxcar can load and unload the crates containing various goodies for your LEGO minifigures. Cookies, eggs, and a classic LEGO set await those receiving the boxcar’s deliveries!

The tanker car is a little container for mighty geometry. Consisting of various shapes not typical of LEGO building, such as cylinders and triangles, any builder is sure to learn something new while putting it together!

The caboose concludes both the train and the building experience. Featuring details such as a desk, stove, and a seat up in the cupola to enhance the authenticity of the model. Bring those minifigures to the back of the caboose to relax after a hard day of working on the Knob & Tube Railroad; after all, it has enough room to seat all three!
