A Lego Pub, based on Traditional Australian Architecture and modeled after the pub down the main street. The first Floor has a fish and chip shop, another Australian staple. The interior has a maroon pool table and service counter, as well as a window into the fish and chip shop. The second floor has a balcony where the patrons can enjoy a meal outside. There is also a bathroom with stalls, a few seating arrangements, as well as a stage where the pub might host musicians, trivia, etc. The third story contains the rooms for guests to stay as well as a utilities closet. The roof is mostly flat with an access hatch, and a large sign denoting the name of the pub. Minifigures include a fish and chip shop owner, a publican, two tradies, two workers, and three pub goers.
I first built the pub in real life as an addition to my city, then brought it over to the digital world for the competition and to figure out the interiors. I started with the front facade then added the sides and back for support. The build consists of snot techniques as well as hinge elements to get the right angles. There is also a bench on the balcony that is built around the pole elements. As well as some door elements turned sideways to create large windows.
