Inspired by the race cars built between 1965-1970 era, my model takes it’s main design form with a simple, oval shaped body.
It’s a trackday car, with modern safety standards like the rollbars, lights and indicators, three-point safety belt. Other details built-in like a large wiper blade, radio, climate controls.
My goal was to build a car that is focused more on aesthetics, small details, a true model car.
This meant that I didn’t have space or structure rigidity to integrate working suspension and gearbox system.
I want fans to feel, when building my model, like they are building an actuall car. Build the chassis, the engine, components. Wire the car battery and sparkplugs.
Coupe Speedster has a working V8 Engine connected to the Rear Wheels with a Solid Axle and working Steering components.
The Windscreen is attached to hinges and can be raised to allow easier entrance into the cockpit.
The Rear Wing has a wide Flap connected onto the End Plates which allow you to adjust the Flap angle.
Once the main model is built, there are Optional submodels that can be added or removed to your liking:
Street Spec: In road going specification, you can install a Taillights unit with a License Plate and a Double Stack Air Filter.
Trackday Spec: In track day specification, you can install a Rear Wing and an Air Intake Cover.
Make your own Spec: Combine the submodels and mix them however you like.
