Update: We hear that many of you, including the fan designer, would have liked to see minifigures included in this set. Minifigures were not included in error. We hope you are able to populate your Mountain Windmill with minifigures from your collection.




High in the Boratis Mountains, between the tallest peaks, stands the windmill. How the windmill came to be there, its purpose, and who inhabited it (if anyone) were all unknown—or long forgotten.

 

Introducing The Mountain Windmill LEGO set. A derelict windmill overtaken by nature and full of mystery.

It's incredibly frustrating that I still haven't received this set, after pledging support to it nearly nine months ago. I keep getting emails pushing the shipping date further back; today I got one saying it wouldn't ship until September 18th! This set has been "one month away" for three months!

Just got my latest (4th!) shipping update e-mail. It started with Aug 2nd, now at Aug 25th. Looks like it’s being shipped to Europe before North America?? BrickLink’s original AFOL Designer Program (2019), before Lego took over BrickLink, was far more efficient and reasonably priced than this 3 round Lego iteration!!

I"d wager they ship sometime in August. But maybe i'll be surprised and it'll go out in July. If it's any consolation they dont actually take your money until it ships.

Any shipping update on these sets? Q3 2022 lasts from July 1 through September 30...that's a pretty big window. Especially when you consider we all bought and paid for these November of last year. A simple update would be nice, decent, and kinda responsible to post. Thanks!

I am very surprised that the version currently pictured is missing some very crucial detailing pieces that were present in the original Bricklink submission. Normally, this would be due to a part being unavailable due to color or such, but the part I'm particularly thinking of is in a newish Friends set, so it can't be out of production. Will definitely have to add those pieces back in, just like the revolver in the Sheriff's Safe set.

I put together the miller and village boy on Lego Pick a Brick for all those upset about their absence. They cost less than five dollars not counting the service fee, and look as close as possible to the original Minifigs. @Styrac Ordered in July, expected delivery in January, you're just going to ignore that 6 months? I've been waiting 8 months in total and it's 2 months late, just because they said January delivery doesn't mean that that eliminates that 6 months of wait time. I am complaining about a 2 month delay, who wouldn't when the estimated wait time has been extended by 30%? Let's say you organised renovations on your house, the contractor told you he would start the work in 6 months, when the start date arrived, your contractor didn't show and still hadn't contacted you for a further 2 months, so you chase him up to get an idea of when to expect a start date and all he could give you was another estimate with no guarantee... Oh and for the record, they debited my account last month when I confirmed my cc details, so they've taken my money but delivered no product, tell me you'd be happy with that?

@Lunch1 The Castle in the Forest set wasn't supposed to release till January, so you've only been waiting for 2 months. You can't complain about a preorder window they clearly told you about when you bought the item. Ntm it just said "January", so at worst you've been waiting 2 months, at best its been 1.

Nice set and i am looking forward to build it. But what a ridiculous excuse. No minifigures due to an "error"? An "error" we pay for? Well done! As someone before me wrote, this set is really expensive compared to the 910001 Castle in the Forest with 6 minifigures and 1 horse. Please don't get me wrong, the Bricklink Designer Programm is great, but I feel a little cheated. Can we also expected that there will be no minifigures in some sets of upcoming crowdfunding rounds, because "in error"?

I'll be honest, this set already felt a little expensive (especially compared to Castle in the Forest for the same price), and presumably this means when pricing was set it included minifigures that we now just don't get, either? I think Hanwas did an amazing job with this set and I know they had nothing to do with pricing it. I'm still happy I backed it, it will look amazing next to the Ideas Blacksmith set, but I think we should all get a small discount to make up for the minifigures being left out "in error". Maybe I'll see if LEGO customer service will give me some VIP points or something once these ship out if nothing else.
