---March 18th Update---


I’ve reimagined several sections of the Retro Bowling Alley for stability and design reasons. This update includes a lot more detail, a reduction of repetitive building, and improved accuracy!


Some changes include:

- Added detail to large sign in front

- Slightly changed large sign for stability

- Added brick details and foliage to sides of building

- Updated water, gas, and electric meter details

- Adjusted some architectural details

- Redesigned roof for better stability

- Improved designs for details located on roof to reduce repetition

- Changed main building color from ‘Dark Tan’ to ‘Tan’

- Added ladder access to roof

- Redesigned seating area

- Added arcade and vending machines

- Added ball racks

- Rearranged kitchen layout

I dream of buying it at a normal price. Since Lego is now releasing 30k new sets from the Designer Program, the previous ones should also be re-released to reach this number. Then the idiots would stop selling it at triple the price.

Stop asking if there will be another release. It's crowdfunded and what makes it special is there's only 10k in existence. If you want it then go buy one from a scalper. Otherwise don't suggest it ruin it for everyone who ordered it on time. It's lego. If you want the exact set, get the building instructions and build it. If lego re-released this I am never going to do another crowd fund again. Next time don't miss out.

Lego seems to be having a serious logistics problem. Just received an email this morning pushing the delivery out to Sept 10th. Why not just say "soon" and stop with all the update emails?

I'm guessing all the sets worldwide were packaged in the same location (perhaps Denmark since that's where non-Bestseller Pick a Brick orders ship from) and all the USA orders are stuck on a shipping container somewhere. I agree that this whole "get an email once a week that my set has been delayed another week with no other details" communication model is ridiculous though...

I got the same email this morning that it will be pushed out until September 2. What gives? They know how many orders were purchased. Make the parts, assemble the boxes, and make the shipping date. Pure aggravation and one reason this system does not work. I totally do not get this business model and how they expect us fans to support it.

Hey avila, just want to say thanks and congratulations for working on the set, thanks to BrickLink designer program too. I notice it’s been a long time, 6 months to get to Lego ideas back in 2020, then 2 more years until dispatch, so thanks for sticking with it over all the different iterations! Loved the build, I changed just one thing - I decided to fix my skittles down, but they can stay in place pretty well without studs , it just takes me too long to set them up! I love having different heights of buildings in my modular town. When building this it felt like a real Lego set. Yes to the previous point it is tricky on the roof but managed it after a few mins. @BananaGuy, there are like a 1000 pre-orders to complete the 10k, why did Bricklink/Lego not keep pre-order open untill start of production? It would have given lot's of people half a year extra to back this project and receive a cool set, and Lego would have earned more money aswell. I feel some discutable managerial argument being behind these decisions on limiting these sets to some happy few who roam around on bricklink enough to be there on the correct day/weeks.

For those of you wondering, no you can no longer buy this set, it was open for pre-orders months ago but once the sets start shipping, the instructions for all the sets should be available for free online with this policy applying to all rounds so people can build the set from scratch even if they were unable to buy the set.

Will there be away to order this again? It’s been hard to buy any LEGO due to my dads cancer treatments, Feb 19, 2021 they told him he only had 6 months left, he is still fighting the fight, but we loved this and the LEGO store.
