The astronaut was having a field day. Flying his state of the art Two - Man scooter (what kind of name is that?) he was hovering the lunar surface, scanning with his manual scanner.
The Two - man Scooter was part of the first series of spaceships developed by Earth's newly formed Space Fleet, designed for the exploration of the atmosphere and surface of the other planets in Earth's Solar System and who knows, in the near future, other planets outside the Solar system as well.
But for know, the astronaut was enjoying the first real trip of his spaceship. He was one of the test pilots back on Earth and so he knew her perfectly well. Still, here in the void of space on Earth's moon, it was a whole new ball game. |
