Without getting into much more details about all the other problems...
Has anyone found a way to change the "notification" number on my store
icon? Instead of the number of uninvoiced orders (or something reasonable), it's
ALL orders, invoices to send, and all lots to notify (and I assume other things
like messages). So when I logged in, instead of seeing "2" (for 2 new
orders), it's 8976. Not remotely a useful feature, when the "notification"
is a large number like that, which is also changing constantly. I'd even
prefer it off altogether if there's no *customizability* like there is on
the MyBrickLink page.

Hi

Anyone got any idea where to find 'my messages', I've looked everywhere
but can't find it (except in the 'help' part of the site'.

Why on earth do software developers make these changes without 1) Asking people
who use the site and 2) not providing documentation about the changes so users
(who are PAYING for this) don't have to spend ages trying to find out where
the heck stuff is.

It is under your user profile on the new nav menu, click it and scroll down to
messages.

Thanks very much for that.

Who on earth decided that the recent changes are somehow better than the old
navigations, basically everything is hidden away, presumably to make the site
look tidier (no other reason) as it certainly doesn't make it easier to use.

If ADMIN are reading this PLEASE revert back to the old navigation until you
can make it EASIER for all those sellers you rely on for the site's income.

That number appears to have no bearing on the actual numbers of quotes, orders
etc, It was telling me I had 24 quotes, I had a look and there was 30 in there,
I have just deleted a load left 6 in there to be told I had 11, changed pages
and went back in and it's now telling me I have 5 even though there are still
6 in there.

That doesn't work I have 4 accepted quotes and 2 cancelled, yet it's
telling me I have 5 whereas it was 11 before refreshing the page.

Ah, I see. Well, the Quotes features were never really integrated with the rest
of BrickLink. I am not surprised the numbers are a little wacky.

I understand you wanting to clear that huge notification. I know several people
who cannot tolerate open notifications. My Discord always, always has the red
circle on it and my son sees it and asks... why don't you clear those so
when you can see you've got a new one? Uh, I have no idea how to mess with
enough settings to get that to work. lol

I've given up on the notifications here until they fix it and am just amused
by watching the number fluctuate.
