Placed an order from Pops Block Shop. USPS has received the package. Been more
then 30 hours and it is still in processing by USPS. Is this a USPS issue or
a seller issue?

As much as you want it to be a seller issue, it is a shipper issue. It's
the holidays, the post office is processing heavy amounts of packages right now.

Okay, thanks. I was just wondering because its not even that big of an order.
Ive placed many 60+ dollar orders and they were processed faster. I appreciate
your help.

AFAIU, sometimes, the packages are not scanned at all the ‘stations’ along their
way, or the tracking is not updated in a timely manner.
It’s not unheard for a package to be scanned for the first time when it’s delivered.

Completely misreading the OP, imho, both of you. No need to assume "undertones"
nor project anything onto the member beyond what is being asked, which is reassurance
from you more experienced members. Listen and impart knowledge, no need to assume

lol, come on Mr icyicle!.

This is what he should of asked "USPS received a package from my Seller,
it's been 30 hrs and no tracking update should I be worried? Or maybe contact
the seller to contact USPS?"

See the difference. That is the sort of behaviour/misunderstanding that can leave
to negative feedback and none of us want that now do we.

None of us misread it, I was just the fatmouth that got triggered by it

You misread, as in...

Read their feedback history. More importantly, be better at reading
basic behavior, from their's in the forum, they're no such threat. As
to "that sort of misunderstanding" perhaps that is why the member continues
to come to the forum for guidance, in spite of petty abuse. To seek reassurance
and make the effort to learn from the more experienced such as yourself and Tracyd.

Is how I read the member, anyway.

Definately a USPS issue! Pop's Block Shop ships out next day if not same
day a lot of the times so unless there is an away message on his store it ships
out fast! I've ordered from him 8 times so far and always ships out next
day.

I speak for no one but me. I can assure you they are all thinking it.

I don't know "Pops block shop".

By all means if you think USPS, or even Purolator was delaying you that's
fine to ask questions. There is not a person in this community that has not had
some delay either as a buyer or seller during a shipping arrangement. It's
a part of the environment.

You mention Pops, admit USPS has received the package and then ask if its a seller
issue?

The negative inference you draw to pops block shop is undeserved. I personally
know people who use Pops often. Why denigrate this good name but for nothing
more than validating your own existence.

The obvious is answer is "hurry up and wait" its Xmas time and people
are busy.

A Seller is only as good as his/her reputation. Our conduct as Buyers and Sellers
on Bricklink is reputationally based by our transactions, the quality of those
transactions and the administration in those transactions.

You did not need to use your Sellers Store name and you did not need to draw
a negative innuendo to him at the end of your query.

Not cool! It's your issue.

Make sure you do the right thing and leave him a good review once you complete
the transaction regardless if it takes a week longer than normal. We all rely
on our reputations.

All good. I accept that. Its sucks ok. I have 5 x AT-AT from Costco waiting for
delivery sent on November 29 @ 5 x 829.00 each. I understand lego anxiety because
no one can tell me where that shipment is. Not Costco's fault "yet"
its a shipper issue.

delivery sent on November 29 @ 5 x 829.00 each. I understand lego anxiety because
no one can tell me where that shipment is. Not Costco's fault "yet"
its a shipper issue.

Wow! I could never spend that much money on Lego lol.

I said the same thing 20 years ago. I suspect you are considerably younger than
me, I am 55. Took me 15 years or search and destroy missions to amass my collection/store

Placed an order from Pops Block Shop. USPS has received the package. Been more
then 30 hours and it is still in processing by USPS. Is this a USPS issue or
a seller issue?

30hrs are you even being serious right now?

Did I do something wrong?

Let me put my own current circumstances forward. I have 7 shipments coming to
me as a buyer. The total value is around 13.8k.

I have 3 delayed by Purolator blaming "bad weather".

I have 2 from UPS that for some reason sent my lego.ca order from Calgary (where
I am) to LV Nevada.

I have received 1 today.

The last one there is no update to ICS tracking.

Is this a seller issue? (being TLG and 4 individuals) or is it a shipping issue.
Its a shipping issue obviously. I don't need to name names, or make suggestive
comments because there are 4 shippers involved and ALL are busy because someone
named jesus wanted to be born 2025 years ago.

Guess what, the same thing will happen next year too, just like it did last year.

Calm down, this time of the year takes a little longer to process

That is a great store run by a very well liked guy in the community. He gets
alot of orders which does affect processing time. Otherwise its just the post
office being slow.

I'm sure you'll have no issues and if you did and it was his fault he'd
fix it.
