i propose to create a vr version of the studio 2.0 app so that it's easier
to build and so that you can get a scale of your build while building and as
a bonus it would feel like your just playing with normal Lego but then online

do you understand how much work that would take, and how expensive that would
be to develop? I don't think it's worth doing, especially due to the
fact Studio is free

What?  But Michael Douglas already had that in 1994¹!

¹ In Disclosure I don’t know why it came to my mind, especially as it’s
not very good and that VR scene is worse.

I'll agree with the suggestion but only if instead of a brick selection tool,
you would be presented with a huge pile of mixed up bricks that you have to sort
through when you want to build.

Bonus: it actually commands a robot in your LEGO room.

Double bonus: it actually command a robot in someone else’s LEGO room.

Triple bonus: … only for the sorting part, and it’s in MY LEGO room!

In theory what you ask for already exists. ALL VR would be is a VR Camera mode
in CAD. which Technically already exists a small interface change would have
to be created. After that the only balance issue is not to get to greedy on the
rendering to keep you from needing a $1000+ graphics card.

There are LOADS of industries taking advantage of VR. I've had the pleasure
of getting to see some great industry hands on demos that would knock you socks
off.

To be honest, Any tinkerers out there with a little VR time could pull it off
easily. I know last year I was thinking about trying to do something like this
in NEOS but the Ownership issues and split has kind of made NEOS a dead-end until
things are worked out.

I think this is the worst idea I have ever come across, why fix what is not broken?

VR is almost useless for anything like this. And playing with LEGO online?!?!
Just what we need, another internet hookup and more screen time

Good thing these suggestions are never looked at, otherwise we could be paying
$45 bucks a month
