| Is the middle part just discolored medium blue?
The left is medium azure

Looks like Maersk Blue - and this part does exist in that color:

what are the odds of finding a q element in a random lot

I found a blank kit fisto head in a tub that had been stored in a barn for years
Surprising good condition too. I assumed maybe the paint faded off but looked
to nice for that.

I think your assumption may be right those things fade super easily and
cleanly

You're right, I had a bit of confusion because the tile doesn't look
at all like medium azure to me

This part I know is medium blue( the lighting is not the best )and was asking
about the 1x2 brick

rebuilding.

I concur, Medium Blue has (at least) two very noticeable variations.
