1) I am requesting to remove

Book No: binfbat2 Name: Instructions for use of battery box (104284)
*
binfbat2 Instructions for use of battery box (104284)
Books: Informational Book: Technic: 4.5V
(Greek, Portuguese, Spanish) because I am not sure if 7722 was ever sold in any
of the countries in which one of these languages are spoken.

3) The copy-right year on the first version, printed in black-and-white, is 1982.
The copy-right year on the 2nd version, printed in color, is 1987.

4) I request to include the German-French-Italian D/F/I

Part No: 113582 Name: Paper Information Note, Use of Battery Box - 113582-D/F/I
*
113582 Paper Information Note, Use of Battery Box - 113582-D/F/I
Parts: Paper
as regular because I believe this is the most common variation, i.e. more copies
sold in Germany, Netherlands,...than UK,...

5) There were no second remark above.

But were you the one who accepted the request?

When I made the request I overlooked it. My bad

I see it is already rejected. If you rejected it, it means you know 7722 was
sold on one of those countries (Spain, Portugal, Greece)?

I know 7722 came in 5 different language boxes but I have never seen a box in
Spanish, Portuguese, Greek.

It is possible that 7722 was sold there, but it was most likely imported. If
they sold it with a different language box, how do we know the battery information
paper was in Spanish, Portuguese and Greek?!

By the way, this paper information ([binfbat1, binfbat1,...) came in 3 sets and
two service packs.

I have a link to Spanish and Portuguese catalogs but the files in the link can
no longer be opened

I have no idea.

It's not rejected, yet. It is still pending because you were the one who
added it to the inventory and now you want to remove it. It is my role to figure
out why the flip-flopping is going on before doing anything further.

Well, if it can't be figured out, why are you submitting inventory change
requests? None of us catalog admins are going to know anything about this stuff,
so we have to take your word for it. Thus, flip-flopping on your change requests
makes it harder to trust what you are submitting.

It's not rejected, yet.

Ok, I requested to move the book

Book No: binfbat1 Name: Instructions for use of battery box (104282)
*
binfbat1 Instructions for use of battery box (104282)
Books: Informational Book: Technic: 4.5V
to alternate section because it did not come in those copies sold between 1985-86
but it is rejected and I am not sure why.

It is still pending because you were the one who
added it to the inventory and now you want to remove it. It is my role to figure
out why the flip-flopping is going on before doing anything further.

I explained I overlooked it. This happened long time ago but my guess is that
I wanted to add all these books to this set as they were orphan at the time but
I didn't realize one of them was in Spanish. I am sure If I had seen the
languages Spanish,... I would had been surprised and wondered if 7722 was sold
in Spain and then, why I had not seen 7722 with a Spanish/Portuguese/Greek box.

In the last 8 years, I have not seen a Spanish box 7722 so I was confident that
we need to remove this Spanish book from 7722. I did not check all sold copies
of 7722 to make sure it never came with 7722 and I am not sure how I can do that.
I did not verify all Lego shops who were selling Lego in Spain between 1985-90
neither!
I communicated also with a big collector and Lego store in Spain who also confirmed,
giving detailed information, that no 4.5v or push-along train (7710, 7715,
7720, 7722) between 1980-90 were sold in Spain. Obviously, 12v trains were not
sold neither.

Well, if it can't be figured out, why are you submitting inventory change
requests?

I already answered this but again: because we need an evidence for this book
that came with 7722. It is almost certain it was never sold in any of these countries.
The fact is that if these trains (7722, 7720,...) were indeed never sold in these
three countries, we have no way to verify this. Who can verify all used copies
7722 ever sold?!
So I am pretty sure it was never sold and until the opposite is proven to be
true, I believe it should be removed.
As to what set this Spanish book belong to, the answer is found: set 740-1

Set No: 740 Name: Basic Building Set
*
740-1 (Inv) Basic Building Set
524 Parts, 1 Book, 1985
Sets: Universal Building Set: Basic

None of us catalog admins are going to know anything about this stuff,
so we have to take your word for it. Thus, flip-flopping on your change requests
makes it harder to trust what you are submitting.

To be fair, over the last few years, I made a couple of mistakes on quantities
too and they were even accepted! Having realized the mistakes, I submitted request
to correct them and they were accepted too. There is no difference this mistake
from those.
I have also seen mistakes from all regular submitters and also from catalog/inv.
team members. How did/do you continue trust them knowing they have made a few
mistakes? How can other users of BL trust them?

By the way, this paper information ([binfbat1, binfbat1,...) came in 3 sets and
two service packs.

I have a link to Spanish and Portuguese catalogs but the files in the link can
