Before I updated my bricklink program I could find tiles and bricks with designs
on them (e.i tile 2 x 2 with computer monitor) but now I cannot find any tiles
or bricks with designs on them, is this merely an issue I'm experiencing
or a bug many people are dealing with??

If you are talking about Studio: just toggle the button to show or hide patterned
bricks It is next to the search box and shows as either a solid white cube (hide
patterned bricks) or a hashed white cube (show patterned bricks).
