| Hi
I recently bought a hoard of minifigures from a different marketplace. When I
started to look closer on the pieces, I started to have doubts about if the minifigures
are real or fake.
I can find some Lego stamps, but not on all.
Should there be a Lego stamp on every piece of a lego minifigure?
Some of them have a lego stamp between the studs on the legs, but the torso and
head lacks stamps. Some has a stamp on the torso but not on the legs. Some minifigures
came from microfighter sets where the lego block of the spaceship are stamped,
but there are no stamps on the figurines…I can honestly not figure this out.

| The torso will always have the logo at the top of the neck, the legs will always
have the logo in between the 2 studs at the top and/or on the bottom of the feet
(really olds legs might not have the logo). Headgear doesn’t always have the
logo but most still do. For heads if it’s a solid or hollow stud it always has
the logo but if vented or blocked stud the top won’t have a logo

In my experience all original Lego parts also have the Lego brand stamped on
them. All fakes I have seen so far are missing the Lego marking. One of my recent
orders here on Bricklink unfortunately contained fake parts only.  I have contacted
the seller and reached out to Bricklink. None of the parts shipped had the Lego
markings on them.

In my experience all original Lego parts also have the Lego brand stamped on
them. All fakes I have seen so far are missing the Lego marking. One of my recent
orders here on Bricklink unfortunately contained fake parts only. I have contacted
the seller and reached out to Bricklink. None of the parts shipped had the Lego
markings on them.

There are a very large number of legit Lego parts which do not and never have
had the Lego logo on them.
A fake will not have the logo; a part without a logo is not always a fake.

It's true that all fakes will not have the logo but it's not true that
all legitimate Lego parts will have the logo.
Before you start this kind of complaint about an order you should post the contents
here (with pictures) and ask for advice - there are many parts, especially older
small ones, that lack the logo.
