Hey all,
a quick question, my apologies if it was answered already: I noticed the amount
of speckle in my

Part No: x1533 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Viking with Side Holes
*
x1533 Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Viking with Side Holes
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear
is pretty irregular - several of them have barely any. Is the speckle painted
on, is it possible that it was rubbed off? Or is it in the plastic and just bad
luck if it looks basically black?
Thanks,
Patrick

I had a handful of

Part No: 53454 Name: Minifigure, Weapon Axe Head with Clip
*
53454 Minifigure, Weapon Axe Head with Clip
Parts: Minifigure, Weapon {Speckle Black-Silver}
and they were all different varying levels of
speckle. They don't rub off, just variations in the molding process. I
would just add a note to the listing that the speckling is light so that there
is no confusion by the buyer. I had done the same (even one of mine look like
no speckle when it was further away), but had no problem selling them.

The speckled pattern is a paint application over a plain-colored molded part.
The amount of speckles and the size of the speckles can vary considerably.

Cheers,
