I have 8 projectile cannons 2533c01 that I'm looking to post in my store
but I'm stuck on the color. 2 of them I think are Pearl Dark Gray bc there
are some swirls in the color. But the other 6 I'm stuck. There are only
2 official colors so they should be Dark Gray but when I hold them up to other
Dark Gray parts they almost look closer to Dark Blueish Gray. There is a picture
on Bricklink of the two different cannons next to each other but there are no
labels in the picture so I don't know which is which. Can anyone help me
out with these colors? I want to make sure I'm posting the correct thing!
Thanks!

Are you sure you don’t have old Pearl Dark Gray? BrickLink doesn’t recognize
that one and I believe there have been forum posts about this topic before. Old
Pearl Dark Gray when? 🙃

Nope. 2000 is correct. It was first used in a watch set from 2000.

Sure does here: https://ryanhowerter.net/colors.php

Some of those photos could use description updates. 218 and 220 exist outside
of one theme and part, respectively.

WOW! Very cool and helpful. Appropriate too, as I'm adding to my color
chart as we speak.

Pearl Dark Gray has a metallic finish, while Dark Gray and Dark Bluish Gray have
a matte finish.

Dark Gray is darker and more "yellowish/hot" than Dark Bluish Gray, obviously
more "bluish/cold".

Post a photo for us to help you?

They could all be the same color. PDG had all sorts of swirls and shades, before
Lego reformulated the color for consistency.

Yes! I have both of what is in that picture. The top is more pearly with swirls
in the color so I assumed that those were the pearl dark gray. All my other
look like the bottom cannon in the pic.
