store address in BrickLink without issue. I think BrickLink only requires sellers
to reverify their address if they move to a different country.

Not true. I changed my store address and am now in the seller verification process.
It warned me before I changed my address that it would happen, but what other
option do I have? Had to upload new proof of who I am, proof of my new address
and proof of my physical inventory - which I couldn't do very well because
we only get possession tomorrow and don't normally take pictures of myself
with all my inventory - which is what they ask for. Still hoping for the best.

I moved from Ontario to Alberta. I'm now in Alberta and moving in to the
new house tomorrow, so I changed my address on BL. I was able to change my address
for "My Personal Information" without an issue. However, changing my
store address is when I ran into the re-verification. I changed the address and
then before submitting, it popped up a warning that this would close my store
until I completed the verification process, which it did. Still hoping for a
quick turnaround.

I changed my address within Edmonton and there were no such issues, perhaps it
was because it was a cross-country change?

In Irvine, Ontario and Alberta are considered two different countries!

Maybe if there is a different TAX % to apply between those provinces it triggers
the verification, in EU it just changes by country.

I suspect it's because they started collecting sales tax on the seller fees
(which they still haven't updated us on since bringing up their non-compliance
issues). Since you changed province, it changes the taxes for it too.
