Sandboxed variety of it anyway. So far, ~74,000 player visits to the place where
it's being demoed and a 94% approval rating.

I did the user interface and both the server-sided and client-sided code. A few
other people made the background room and items; I'm decent at programming
but not good at making things.

I'd say the biggest issue for me when programming for video games is that
I often times don't think of every possible thing that could happen to break
the system and there are plenty of dependencies in a complicated three-dimensional
environment that I miss something, and odd glitches occur.

Nice! I'm not much of a programmer myself, but it looks impressive!

Players can choose to mix and match components. There are different variants
of claws and so a player could have an OC with shorter claws on one leg and longer
on the other. The limitation in this case is that players must select each limb
individually which leads to a bit more work but higher customizability.

It feels really good when players are begging me to add it to the main game and
that some of even go so far as to use their creations as their Discord profile
picture.

I just don't feel like it's ready. It's a large game that has hundreds
of millions of player visits and I'm just one developer, the only programmer.
Errors in code are bound to have happened and I don't want any children to
become frustrated with game-breaking bugs.

I think I should mention the age of the game's community is young... It's
a colorful blocky FNaF style-game aimed at children between seven and thirteen.
Here is one of the creations one of them made:
