| So for the first time ever I had an order returned with a Royal Mail sticker
on it indicating the reason for return as "addresee gone away".
I've tried to contact the buyer but had no response in over 2 weeks and the
message has not even been read.
I feel like I should refund the buyer but it's hardly my fault the buyer
has "gone away" so I feel a bit loathed to refund the full amount including the
postage so was thinking about just refunding the value of the parts.
Just wondering what others would do/have done in this circumstance?
Thanks,
Steve

Refunding just the value of the parts would be completely fair (in my view, and
what I would have considered good customer service if I had been the buyer, and
for some reason could not communicate). The buyer could be detained somehow,
maybe in a hospital, in jail, evicted from residence, dealing with issues that
make dealing with this order not a priority right now.
