Now I think more about this, should the train wheels be in regular or alternate
section?
There is a note in the instructions:
"According to the instructions, the 5 x 6 plate does not have a hole."
but we see in the photos that the plate has a hole so instructions has a mistake.
I think the note should be changed or removed.

They are shown on the box so I think it is fine to have them in the regular items
section.

I want to personally thank you for finding some info on this set. I have been
working with it on and off for years now, and I see in the package there is proof
of the 5 x 6 plate with a hole. I was actually hoping we would find the 5 x 6
plate without hole and be able to add it to the catalog, but this is what I had
expected.

Yes, I think a plate 5 x 6 do not exist.
TLG put this set together to get rid of extra parts and boxes of
In particular 4.5v blue motor. It is very unlikely they made a new part, i.e.
5x6 plate, just for this set.
A German AFOL sent scans of instructions 102A-1 and 102A-2 on facebook long time
ago but I lost that thread. If you have scans of instructions of these two sets,
I appreciate if you email them to me.
