gonna put an actual embossed nose on there like it's a good idea or something.

Well you have that decision, and then you couple it with the decision of the

I should just cut my losses and toss both pieces into the non lego bin, but the
purist in me cannot abandon that poor lego helmet no matter how little value
it has in most colors.

happened to me once when I was a kid. My parents had bought some clone brands,
but quickly stopped when the quality was obviously worse. Got one of those nosed-heads
stuck in one of those helmets. I finally got it off, but had to break the nose.
