Your store terms are horrendous.

Plus adding 4.2% paypal fee. Simple Honest solution is to raise your prices 4.2%.
A no brainer, unless you are trying to artificially make your prices look cheaper.

No worries then you should be all good. The current hacking issue with bricklink
is thru fake emails sent to sellers which have links that bring them to fake
login pages where phishers steal logging details which they then use to sign
into your account. So long as you don’t follow and email links and you have OTP
on bricklink enabled your store should be all good to go (and as a safeguard
to also have a backup of your inventory saved)

A week and a half a go I had a request for a photo of a fairly costly headgear
from a buyer he had only 1 feedback from last year. I sent a message regarding
that I would be willing with no response. I then took a few photos the next day
e-mailed them, I had no response. I wasn't to worried it happens (right)
but I started wondering and did worry I was afraid someone was trying to get
into my store or something, so I deleted his message (no to sure what good that
would do) But then I received a order from the same person a few days after buying
2 items that had no bearing the the photo requested previously. Ok I thought
and invoiced the order. Still no response or payment😬 I waited 4 days feeling
very uncomfortable and cancelled the order. I haven't heard anything back!

So I am wondering what you long time, smart, BL sellers think about it

Keep in mind many people don't leave feedback because they aren't happy,
but don't want to make a fuss.

I know when I get meh parts, I usually just avoid that shop, I only leave bad
feedback if they really deserve it. I know there are critics of this approach,
but that's just what I do. So really self reflect that you sent "nice"
orders, nicely packed etc.

Otherwise its about 50% leave feedback IME

Thanks!

since you mentioned not wanting to list them individually the best way to sell
them would be an ebay auction

Alternatively, send them to Nubs_Select, he'll sort them and sell them and
you both share 50/50 of the sale. Don't thank me - my pleasure!

I guess some of our packages may end up on Signed, Sealed, Delivered, some day

Luckily no one was killed, and they got the 50 people trapped in it out safely.

Agreed. The drone footage is unbelievable.

Lots of vehicle affected. I imagine there will be delays across the region.

You could buy 800 sets of legs and sell them as a build your own minifigure lots.
You could do bundles of 50 or whatever, random selections of parts.

How much are you looking for? If you are still in the market for Lego I could
potentially give you some store credit

We separate out shipping and handling costs as some states do not charge sales
tax on these items so we try to help buyers where we can by lowering their sales
tax. https://taxhero.net/blog/sales-tax-on-shipping/

Not only against Paypal terms, but it is illegal in California starting in July.

It isn't hard to simply add 3% to your store prices to cover the fee.

But sellers who tack the fee on later get the advantage in the price guide, which
I just consider to be dishonest.

Personally, I least favorite stores that do this, but I will continue to push
Bricklink to change to terms of the site to prohibit junk fees.

I particularly like this one that I came across with today:

In my store, I have no lot limit, or any other hidden fees. I only charge
$1.50 to cover handling and shipping supply costs (in addition to shipping cost)
plus 3.5% of total invoice value to cover my store's overhead cost. We will
not send missing items. We only refund their value.

I saw a store in the US that said 2.00 was added for things like bubble mailers,
tape, pens, stamps and even gas to get to the post office. The list had a lot
more but the stamps and Pens really had me laughing.
I don't understand how people do not put themselves in the buyers shoes.
If you are going to charge a fee like that you are better off not saying anything
at all.

I separate everything because of tax rules as some states tax shipping some do
not so for me I am not nickel-and-diming you I am trying to save some people
sales tax.

Not specifically. You can charge everyone the same rate regardless of payment
method though.

Speaking only for myself, I tend not to order from stores that nickle-and-dime
buyers on fees.

That makes sense if the averages for a given part are only calculated once per
day. I've not run across this issue before, but it seems like Price Guide
manipulation. As in, if other stores use the regular current average price when
parting out, they'll accidentally price at least some items higher than they
ought to be, making the store that does the initial price very high but later
lowers it look like they have low prices when they don't.

Wowza. I just took a look. Charging for the paypal fee and saying they arnt responsible
for packages once they ship them. I highly suggest reading PayPal’s TOS and then
updated your terms

Good to know, my terms are a mishmash of what I've seen other stores do but
I will have to take a look at reworking them
