| yup, many buyers won't leave feedback but once you get 100+ or so feedback
it generally isn't something that really crosses your mind that much so give
it a little and you should be good. as for "encouraging" buyers to leave
feedback you shouldn't message them or anything as it may annoy some so just
provide the best service you can and usually somewhere between 30%-70% of buyers
will leave feedback

Yes.
Buyers buy, and mainly communicate only when there's a problem.
Did you post an evaluation every time you bought on Amazon? I didn't (while
I did for 50+ objects), but it's less and less meaning.
Execpt when it's crap - then DO complain (and return it).
In short, feedback seems to be kind of an obsolete concept when buying on line
was an adventure in itself. Now it's just normal.

|
Nah, that was around years before AI - it's closer to those Elsa/Spider-Man
videos that were "made for kids" & had a ton of inappropriate content.
The "." videos were some sort of algorithm bypass that allowed people
to upload disturbing content & not get caught by YouTube's filtering system
The "." search was "fixed" in a sense that YouTube no longer
suggests weird search terms or videos with foreign symbols in the title when
you search "." but it still results in creepy videos showing up (which
are titled "Full Stop Punctuation" although I think those videos are
just copycats trying to get views off of people who learned about the whole situation
after it was "resolved" - none of the videos being suggested contain
disturbing content, it's just odd/creepy videos with unrelated, custom thumbnails
to draw people in; it's basically a creepypasta sort of thing now
Before YouTube caught on it was a mix of odd/creepy copycat vids and actual NSFL
content, no idea how people figured it out but I'm glad it's somewhat
fixed now

| Hi there.
This concerns a NPB , complaint i believe instead of NSS.
By the looks of it and the understanding of what you wrote;
The seller added picking and postal , and after that you did not pay the invoice.
For future overseas and or any purchases where instant checkout is unavailable;
Use a request quote option
Instead of the Invoice.
You could try to be nice, and request a cancel when the invoice is done and you
dislike the outcome..
But request quote is without the obligation.
Have a good one.
|
This is a problem; excessive postage is a legitimate reason to cancel an order
and should never result in feedback for either party as a transaction didn't
happen. And for postage costs there shouldn't be an option of an NPB. Holding
a buyer hostage because the shipping cost is beyond what they expected is not
a good way to do business. Most people don't understand how to ask for a
quote, many things are not intuitive here.

The USA has sanctions/ trade embargo against Belarus. I imagine Poland also has
similar, in line with EU regulations. https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/policies/sanctions-against-belarus/

Will this page
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=102
be updated to reflect this new wording?
Currently it still indicates (for used incomplete sets)...
Every item for sale on BrickLink has a Condition which is assigned by the
seller.
:
Incomplete - Set is missing items. Description should state what exactly is missing.
As the seller assigns the condition, do they get to choose what the difference
between serious and very serious is?
Personally, I think rules should be precise so if an item is removed then it
is clear as to why.
So something along the lines of ...
USED: If instructions and/or box are missing, it is still considered COMPLETE
if this is mentioned in the notes. If any of the parts, including stickers, necessary
to build the main model and any supplementary models are missing then the listing
must be marked as incomplete. However, it must be listed as a custom item and
not an incomplete set if any of the following is true:
- It is missing more than 10% of the parts (or whatever is decided how much
can be missing)
- It is missing any of the essence of the set, including missing any of the
figures of an IP set, name tiles in architecture and similar sets, printed parts
unique to the set, etc.
Alternatively, it might be better to just remove the ability to list an incomplete
set. So if anything is missing and the set does not meet the definition of complete
(whether used complete or new complete) then it must be listed as a custom lot.
That way, there is no subjectivity when it comes to items being removed. And
probably less work for the helpdesk or whoever removes items reported.

It's a bit confusing trying to corroborate your words here with feedbacks
left and received. It seems there's a NSS as well as a NPB filing involved?
Anyway, looking at both feedbacks left (plus reply) and your posted concern here...
It seems you're crossing each other in the night, so-to-speak. The "asking
price" was not increased, the invoice total increase due to postage and packaging
charges which is fairly commonplace here. On the other hand the seller apparently
doesn't have these added charges spelled-out within their terms.
Neither fully wrong nor right, and both perhaps too quick with punitive moves.
Remove feedbacks and open comms, would be my advise to you and your vendor. There's
always time and opportunity to reinstate negative feedback and punitive filings.

Well, I guess the problem is in the definition of “serious” and “very serious.”
And saying “it’s on a case by case basis” won’t help those who genuinely want
to know how to list their sets without risking infringing.
(OTOH, rhetorical “what if” will still pop up anyway.)
| NEW: If instructions or box are missing, it is INCOMPLETE at best. It may not
even be able to be listed as INCOMPLETE if the essence of the set is missing
(all the minifigures in an IP set) or if only a small portion of the whole is
present (i.e. a single minifigure or a part).
|
Wasn’t there a tolerance for new, not yet catalogued, minifigures, when only
the set entry exists (so, without an inventory yet)?
|
Yes, there was. But frankly, they should have always been listed in the Custom
section. People still use the Custom section extensively when trying to list
things early, so we know this is a viable option.

| Hi there.
This concerns a NPB , complaint i believe instead of NSS.
By the looks of it and the understanding of what you wrote;
The seller added picking and postal , and after that you did not pay the invoice.
For future overseas and or any purchases where instant checkout is unavailable;
Use a request quote option
Instead of the Invoice.
You could try to be nice, and request a cancel when the invoice is done and you
dislike the outcome..
But request quote is without the obligation.
Have a good one.

It was already a red flag when he messaged me about the cheapest shipping option
while every info is available in my terms and during checkout too but I messaged
him all details about shipping. He also wrote in Italian but why would I limit
my buyers by the languages they speak? Well, I should have stoplisted him before
he placed an order...
Buyer claimed that 6 parts out of 120 were missing from his order. You won't
believe but these parts were the most expensive ones in the order, worth a total
of €2,44 while the whole order was €14,77. So it was already a bit strange and
I wondered if I would have missed a whole lot and I added only 4 instead of 8
of another? Hell no!
The bad feeling continued since I always double check my orders before I pack
and ship them so I rechecked my inventory and all the remaining quantities were
correct so none of the parts were missing from his order, that's 100% sure.
I also contacted one of the sellers he dealt with (positive feedback left to
the buyer) since I know the seller from a FB group of BL sellers and he confirmed
that this buyer played the same trick with him. Same method, claiming a few parts
missing from the order while they aren't, hoping to get a refund so basicly
getting a few parts for free.
Better stoplist this buyer, he would probably do the same trick with you when
ordering, you will likely refund him since it's just a few parts and a few
euros and don't want extra headache or negative feedback but he will never
stop unless someone stops him.
|
Honestly that is just insane… being an incredible cheapskate and trying to scam
the seller for a few bucks back is unreal. I would definitely stoplist him.

2000 euros or 30 orders in a year.

Tecnically less than 2000€ AND 30 orders per year.
| You have more than 30 orders in a year.
You have 71 orders in the last 14 months.

Correct.

Hi,
If you want to “remove” the parts from your Wanted Lists (that is, automatically
change the Wanted and/or Have quantity), there’s no way to do that on the website
If you want to “only” transform your My Collection into a Wanted List, you could
do that on the website… but it’s a bit complicated (you need to export your collection,
then edit the file to replace all QTY with MINQTY, then paste the file on the
special tab on the upload page…).
The simplest is to use a third-party tool, like BrickStore, to manage your collection
and wanted lists.
BrickStore can read downloaded inventories (like My Collection; there’s an Export
function to ge the file) and Wanted Lists (there’s a download button in the WL;
BrickStore can also download them for you) and it can upload Wanted Lists. In
BrickStore, you can merge or diff your lists easily.

First off use spellcheck.
Secondly this reads that you were invoiced for less than you placed the order
for.
If so, was it because of missing pieces? If so, it is extremely bad form to
demand you continue with the purchase. Personally, I know inventory mistakes
happen and have no problem with them unless it was the reason for the order in
the first place.
Also, for your first order, you need to file a PayPal claim on it.

Cropped down from auction pic. I realize the evidence is weakened by this being

| Member SCHIRALDI from Italy is playing a trick with honest sellers!

| "How exactly does NEW complete differ from NEW sealed? The tape is broken?"
Sealed - Set is brand new, with unopened factory seals intact, all inner bags
and contents presumably sealed, intact, complete and untampered with as shipped
by the manufacturer. The seller cannot guarantee that a sealed set is complete.
Complete - Contents are brand new and may have been removed from their plastic
bags and handled for inventorying purposes only. Includes all contents that originally
came with set including extra parts, stickers, instructions (if any) and original
box/packaging.
Incomplete - Contents are brand new but may have been removed from plastic bags
for inventory purposes or to remove other contents from the set. The set is missing
some of the contents, instructions or original box/packaging. The description
should clearly state what exactly is missing.
In Terms and Policies, BrickDeals writes:

| This comes from the May newsletter. I am now totally confused.
Listing incomplete sets
Let's talk about incomplete listings! Our Item Condition policy only allows
certain parts of a set to be missing, such as instructions or original packaging,
to qualify it as Incomplete.
When you list sets that are missing minifigures or just the minifigures from
a set, they should not be listed as an incomplete set. They are qualified as
'Custom items'. The process for listing them is the same, except that
you should check the 'Custom item' check box, as shown below.
Listing items as 'Custom' not only helps buyers in their search for specific
items, but it also helps keep our price guide more precise for sellers.
OK, so it seems if you remove the minifigures from a set, or sell part of a set,
that set can no longer be listed as incomplete but has to be listed as a custom
lot. What is an incomplete set. It says this policy change (?) is to keep the
price guide precise for sellers, but what are you comparing when looking at incomplete
sets?
If a set has 10 minifigures, and is missing 1, is it an incomplete set? What
about 5, or 9. According to the official statement missing all 10 is not an incomplete
set but a custom lot. So where is tge critical point?
Same with parts, how much can be missing and still be an incomplete set? And
if someone else has sold an incomplete set, how do I know how complete/incomplete
it was?
This seems to be a huge policy change, especially the part that an incomplete
set can only be missing the box and instructions. That was previously allowed
under the definition of a used but complete set, and my understanding was that
a used set could be complete if it was missing just the box and/or instructions,
but a seller should add comments to say these were missing.
|
I had a NEW set sealed in original polybags with instructions, just missing the
original box, and it got pulled. And yet USED complete can be listed without
the box.
I don't know why a set can't be listed as complete if it is only missing
the box or even the instructions.
The box is not necessary to the set, and the instructions can be downloaded directly
from LEGO.
How exactly does NEW complete differ from NEW sealed? The tape is broken?
This becomes a problem when seller wants to sell sets without boxes for more
efficient shipping.
