| I was looking at the sets these come in, and at least the way it's advertised,
it looks like part 80336 is the top half of the container. Part 80337 is even
called "Octagonal, Bottom" but has a contradictory "Top" in parentheses.
The only way I see it as a top is how some sets use it as a parasol/umbrella,
but when talking about the container it seems like the bottom. Should the names
be changed?

The names are correct as is. When the parts are used as a container, they are
meant to be used so they look like a jewel. When they are separate parts, one
of them is then a mini doll dress, and the other part was classified as a rock
bottom here to be classed with like items.

I agree, a skirt is a bottom container.
