I was wondering if the implementation of a search for stores that are nearby
is on the work bench?
I often hear of people around my city that would buy Lego parts, but don't
want to order them via mail.
Bricklink can be overwhelming for a mom who shops to replace parts the vacuum
cleaner ate!
Sometimes it's a few parts, then they become regulars.
They can pick them up at my door. Pay in cash. Easy-peasy.
I've had people that ordered and dropped by on their weekend trip too. Combining
fun and fun!
I also receive regular messages asking where I'm located (even if it's
stated in my top banner and store policies...)
I guess that search by province/state is OK... but a more precise way would be
better.
It could be on a voluntary basis... I guess some sellers don't want people
showing up at their door and that's ok. Could be a checkbox thing in the
store setting page.

I think location pickup is far more work than as presented. Where and when discussions
have to happen. People aren’t always on time. Do You skip doing something else
for a small order? People who pay online and then never show. Do you mail it
to them at a loss?
Online offers 24-7 service. Mail offers regular delivery at incredible distances
for low cost. And it takes none of your time.
I suspect it’s a declining number of people who avoid delivery. Certainly meal
delivery is getting stronger.
